Lighter than his previous signature shoe, it helps you stay bouncy and comfortable in crunch time. The ride is as smooth as KD’s pull-up jumper and the cushioning is as plush as his right-to-left crossover in traffic, so that you can feel contained when your team needs you the most. This version is made for outdoor court use with its extra-durable rubber outsole.
Soft and Responsive
The full-length Air Zoom Strobel unit is stitched directly to the upper. It helps cut unnecessary weight and provides full-foot responsiveness. Full-length foam adds a soft, comfortable sensation and gives back optimal energy for lasting performance. The combination upgrades the underfoot sensation with a softer, more responsive ride.
Leaner and Lighter
We removed the strap from the KD14 and installed a modified midfoot containment system that you’ll feel directly as you tighten your laces and around your foot. The lightweight structure wraps the foot, so the upper works in harmony with the propulsion system.
Game-Ready from the Jump
Multilayered mesh in the upper is lightweight and provides a broken-in feel. It makes for a comfortable, breathable fit that helps you stay cool. Added thickness in strategic areas helps to keep your foot in place by reducing small movements, so you can check into the game and hit the hardwood running.
Grooves and ridges in the sole help provide multidirectional traction and court feel.
A supportive piece under the arch helps keep the shoe stable.
The heel is crafted in a way to help lock in and add support to your Achilles tendon.
